how to choose a backpack for long term travel!?

I rolled up all of my clothes and compressed them in…socks! 😂 it was actually helpful because the different colours and patterns enabled me to know which sock held what item(s) of clothes. It also enabled me to dig through my bag without undoing all of my packing. I will 100% use socks again next time!

for europe travel: the levels of strictness with cabin bags and whatnot depends largely on the country, flights to and from the UK (and domestic flights in the UK) are at least in my experience the strictest

Another fun video you two. I need the pick pocket story- I have no doubt Mackenzie talked them into giving her money back! Key for Europe suitcase travel- bring a pal who is travelling with a backpack to roll the suitcase for you (in my case aka my husband) or bring a personal porter (also in my case my husband) but I was 6 months pregnant so cut me some slack 💁🏻‍♀️
