Founded in 1987, Lone Wolf Paintball is still Southeastern Michigan’s premiere paintball supplier. Originally opened by one man whose only motivation at the time was to get discounted merchandise for him and his friends, Lone Wolf has evolved into a multi-location business serving thousands of players every year. Lone Wolf East is located right on the property of the Gibraltar Trade Center in Mt Clemens. From I-94 use exit # 237 for North River Road. Enter in through the main gates of the Gibraltar Trade Center and the registration area will be located on the left hand side. Please keep in mind that Gibraltar does charge $2 per car for parking and that fee is not waived for paintball patrons.

Given how inconsistent the paint seemed to be with both of those brands, it almost makes me think I'd be better off spending the money elsewhere on my gun considering I have to play with field paint.

Two things to say: 1: It doesn't matter if you underbore, bore match, or overbore, if you are using crappy paint then you will not shoot straight. 2: Ideal bore size is either .002-.003 smaller or .002-.003 larger than the average size of the paintball. This provides the best consistency and underboring also provides better efficiency. If you underbore/overbore by too much you will actually see a decrease in consistency and potentially a decrease in efficiency. Another thing to note is that underboring will only break paint if your paint is dimpled/not round or if you are undeboring by .004 or more.

When it comes to inserts, the aluminum ones (GoG and Empire) tend to be mislabeled (a .689 insert may end up being a .682) The SS inserts are true to their bore size.

Ive attempted to make reviews, but I don't have a good camera/mic setup. I might do a couple videos on overlooked markers in the sub $300 range (Ion, DP F7/F8, Shocker NXT) at some point in the future

What's a good upgraded barrel for tippmann cronus A5 threads i got a stock barrel but like a 14 to 16inch length on a 68 caliber

I wouldnt upgrade the cronus, rather save your money and keep playing with it. If you continue to really enjoy paintball and want to upgrade your game, buy a new gun. Its just an entry level gun that will always have a low ceiling in my opinion. GL !

it feels like everyone has the miss conception that paint is consistently sized and shaped... if they were this would make sense.. they arent so why do you want some balls to have so much back pressure they get stuck, and some don't? You are going to have wildly in consistent shots, and shots that get weird spin offs... or worse case break under pressure. PAINT MATCHING IS FOR GUNS WITHOUT DETENTS! use the smallest bore you can get away with in which balls still roll out.

@@ToyMaestro A detent in a paintball gun is the thing that holds the ball in the breech from rolling out. Hence where barrel matching started. Cockers and old school guns didn't have them.. thats why you needed to paint match the bore so the ball wouldn't roll out.

@@glytch5 Originally when back in 1985? The automag 100% had a barrel detent. How i know is i owned several in the early 90s. The first WGP autococker around 96 also had a bearing detent. Anyways the automag detent sucked and you would still get balls to roll buy and chop city. It was alot tougher to match paint back then because there wasnt barrel kits. Lapco auto spirit barrels came in 3 different bore sizes, i want to say they were the first to do it. Could be wrong on that one. Anyways i like a snug fit so when you blow the balls flies the fuck out.

You don't connect them. You have a back piece of a barrel which the inserts fit in. You screw the front part on and the barrel goes into the marker. That's it

All depends on how well the shop/field takes care of there paint ! But seems like I'm coming across alot more crap paint than good paint. I don't like paying $60+ just to actually have em go straight cuz I'm still going thru cases all day lol gets soo darn expensive. Need to figure out away to make paint wayyyyy more cheaper but very accurate for everyone. Would totally change the sport in my opinion .

Hello i have a ETEK5 with 2 Piece Micro Honed 14.5” length, 0.693” Bore ,Shaft4 compatible...how can upgrade my barrel? Freak insert kit work on Etek 5??

Personally I'm not a fan of insert kits, I use a 6 piece cp barrel kit If you don't have an issue with your current barrel like breaks a drastic amount of lost air efficiency then there is no reason to upgrade. IF YOU CHOOSE TO UPGRADE THEN REMEMBER THE ETEK5 TAKES ONLY "AUTOCOCKER" THREADS I suggest if you do Cp barrels obviously my personal fav Any j&j barrels The empire pipe Any dye barrel unfortunately there also the most costly but with the best polished then any other barrel back or insert ever! Hk-army has a nice kit Inception designs but I'm not really sure if you can find a actual kit of that Barrel anymore Any planet eclipse barrels Carbon fiber barrels are nice but there are few I recommend. Never buy them pre owned (personal experience buying used was bad) Deadlywinds And those are the few off the top of my head

Depends on the size of your paint.

If you use field paint 90% of the time id go for like a .686. My stock Proto Rize barrel as an .689 has never had a ball fall straight through.

BenDean it’s not worth boring on a tippmann 98, they won’t be able to handle super consistent paint so usually it won’t be worth it, just instead of paying 100 bucks on a barrel then 80 on the inserts just buy a used speedball gun like an etha

I'm just wondering why they had to make it complicated? My assumption in the start of paintballing was its all the same damn size. So when I learnt about sizes and calibers I was like, well thanx a lot, that means I gotta go spend money on something that didn't seem necessary, because barrels ain't cheap, a kit more so ain't cheap. Now I got to fuff over, am I using the right balls with my gun did I pack my damn kit did I do this or that. Seriously. I just wanna pick up my shooter and shoot.
