Just wanted to say thanks for the video. Much needed content that is overlooked sadly. Again thanks for reaching us beginners on what we should look for.

Insightful things to learn about at 2 in the morning when I suddenly decide to pick up a hobby I’m not finically equipped for, luckily I still have time to learn before committing. Being young, Maybe it’s reinventing myself or maybe it’s me knowing I don’t have to commit because I just started search late in the night and so the only thoughts I’ve shared are to myself so Theres no proof of it being just a phase, all before I’m on to the next thing I want to participate in after finding any interested what so ever, all at the same time. That’s all good, gotta love the infatuation But it’s also nice to simply see yourself as something different not something your not, even for second, not a better or lesser version of yourself either. Anyway, apologize for the tangent sounds like quarter life crisis talk but it’s all great, this was good video, much appreciated.

I’m bought a bell carbon Fiber helmet and got all the bells and whistles and all sanctioning race body’s accept it and I figured buy it once buy something worth it and never try to save money on something that’ll save your life !! And I love it I’ve vinyled it and added decals and it looks amazing and I’ve done that a bunch of times this way I can have fun with it

Buy once, cry once. For something you're only going to buy every 4-5 years, and could very well save your life, helmets are not something to nickel and dime yourself over. Good on you for buying what you wanted and what worked best for you. I'm sure the extra expenditure pays off in every corner with less neck stress, and the peace of mind knowing you're well-protected.

10:26 One-time use includes you leaving your helmet on top of the car, and driving off to tech, and said helmet landing on the concrete paddock. Fortunately it was only a $500 helmet but the steward confiscated it, as it was “used”. Don’t worry we found the guy a helmet to borrow for the day. But don’t do what he did, put it in the passenger seat or on the floor of the car.

Has anyone been able to find anything that explains the SHAPES of all of the helmets? There is no auto helmet seller in my state to try them on.

Don’t waste your money on Simpson products, quality isn’t what it used to be, I recommend impact brand. It’s a better quality brand and run in the same price range as Simpson.

@@fiveoboy01 I’ll be a D Bag for $200. Also, if the vendor is charging $200 dollars more than what is offered online, you might need to re-evaluate who’s the dbag in this situation.

@alessandrooberti33073 жыл бұрын
@@fiveoboy01 No, $200 dollars on top of what the manufacturer is charging is borderline scamming. Of course, it depends on the price of the helmet. If it’s a $5000 dollar helmet, sure. But if it’s less than $1k then I wouldn’t buy it for an extra $200 dollars.
@fiveoboy013 жыл бұрын
@@alessandrooberti3307 No, it really isn't. You have no idea what the costs of said business are, furthermore you have no idea what the desired profit is. You view it as "scamming," a rational person views it as a business trying to make money. You keep talking but it's clear that you don't operate a business, or you wouldn't make these kinds of comments.

pricing. I agree, buy from the vendor who provides you service. With that said, Vendors, please keep in mind that there is a limit to the cost of that service. I don't mind spending 5% and even 10% more than the online merchants for your product, but 25% more for the same product? seriously, you're not worth it.

Simpson quality has gone down hill badly. My buddy bought a Simpson diamondback, it didn’t even last a full season. The shell cracked and spidered in a bunch of places, and the nose on the shell is all chipped. I know for a fact he took care of the helmet, all the flaws came from racing wear and tear. I also bought a pair of Simpson shoes, the soles are ripping off the toes, they lasted about a season and a half. I also bought a Simpson fire suit, and I’m not happy with the quality...Also when I got it, it came with 2 different cuff colors, one was grey one black (both supposed to be grey)

All the products have warranties. Did you actually try to utilize it or do you just like to make(multiple) comments bitching on youtube?
