FYI very few people know this even among professional arborists but the chaps rated for an electric chain saw is different from the chaps rated for a gas powered saw. Reason being is that an electric saw cuts using high torque where as a gas saw cuts using high RPM's. Chaps rated for gas saw will not protect you when using an electric saw.
