If you gently press on the sides of the tube, the watercolor will "suck" back into the tube.
@Createfulart6 жыл бұрын
Great tip I'll try that.

When using a tube do i lighten the colours with water or white colour?
@Createfulart6 жыл бұрын
I use water and less paint to lighten my colours.

I can make great art with Crayola watercolor. It's the skill, not the material, But materials help. XP

Yes I agree. It only matters if your selling your work, so that you have a quality product.

you should always have clean water to start painting with watercolour

Yes, clean is always good.

Never, ever, leave your brushes standing in a cup of water. This will ruin the shape of your brushes... Rest your brushes horizontally on the table or on a lie-flat brush holder...

Great advice but when your working quickly, a short time in the cup doesn't make a difference.

Yowzer. This video set off my OCD. The filthy water you were adding to the pans and the brushes standing up in water. I’m assuming these are cheap art supplies. Makes me feel better to think that lol

I am not OCD, I'm more on the side of being free and having fun, not getting stuck in having to have things perfect. If this bothers you then just enjoy cleaning more. That is totally okay with me. I hope it makes you feel better that I'm enjoying the process of creating lol and I hope you do too. We are all different, that's not a bad thing. ;)

Ouch. It’s Winsor and newton. Not crappy. You are saying they are hard to keep clean, yet you are adding all that scummy water. Aaahhhhhhhhh

I am saying the pan watercolors are more difficult to keep clean than the watercolors from the tube. Water does get dirty when you wash your brushes in it. That is just how it is. I change my water frequently but it is my choice to keep painting, vs. constantly switching out my water. If you prefer to clean your water more, than great!
