This video is probably one if not my favorite video on your channel. Sophisticated, basic yet significant for the novice and even somewhat experienced bass angler. I really like the swimbait hook with the spring. Have you ever used those? I use the weighted swimbait hooks with those big Havoc Craw/Pit Boss baits(such as the one you used in the video) rigged weedless. They can run pretty pricey however.
@DEBOSFishing7 жыл бұрын
Chris McVey I truly appreciate the support man! I have used belly weighted screw lock hooks with craws, they call it the Rage Rig. I use it to crawl over rock. The Jika Rig is a other I tried this year. You fish it like a wobble head using a slow reel retrieve.
@chrismcvey9087 жыл бұрын
DEBO'S Fishing that's awesome! I bet it's incredibly affective. It seems it could imitate an injured baitfish or a crawfish. Ok. I'm gonna have to look into it now!! :)
@DEBOSFishing7 жыл бұрын
Chris McVey yea, great if they are hitting it on the fall too. The Rage Rig falls flatter and side to side instead of shooting straight down. I need to try it more next year too.

What do you think about the clips you tie to your line so you can change lures and hooks with out retiring each lure or hook
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
If they are heavy duty it's ok. I personally don't use them. Especially not those bronze colored clips, I've seen too many of those break.

With Flukes I always nose hook them because rigging them thes way you showed,I lose to many fish.ive never missed one nose hooking one,plus it gives it better action IMO

hey dude im new to ur channel and im diggin it. love ur vijas...im also new to kastking and i noticed ur all about sum kastking. so i stumbled upon an article about kastking n a guy did a review of a kastking reel he had for a yr. and he had no issues but said it just wasnt as smooth as it use to be. cleaned oiled n all got smoother but still not as smooth. im lovin kastking n plan on getting more ive got the speed demon pro and royale legend. question is how long u been fishin em n have u had similar issues? again love ur channel keep up the good content!
@DEBOSFishing6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for joining my channel man! I think it really depends on what type of reel you need, how much can you spend, and what baits you'll use. An aluminum frame will last longer. Any graphite frame reel has the chance to flex and have misalignment issues. That could be the reason for it not being as smooth. Thanks for watching man, I greatly appreciate your support 👊

you think i could use a 2/0 hook for senkos?
@jonboattommy34216 жыл бұрын
I never really use anything but ewg hooks. The fipping hook makes the slip weight set crooked. Im ocd about how my bait looks.
@DEBOSFishing6 жыл бұрын
JonBoat Tommy Hahah that's too funny! Yea, some people give EWG hooks a bad rap but I've still had really good success with them. I do prefer flipping hooks the more I use them though.
