How to choose the best SD card ? Expert tips from KLR the photo guru

Have you ever thought about the importance of choosing the right SD cards for your camera?
There is no single recommendation for choosing an SD card. The choice must match the camera and purpose. KLR the photo guru (KL.Raja Ponsing) makes your section simple. Understand various labels and specifications printed on the card by watching this video till the end.
The numbers denote the storage capacity of the card in GBs. 32,64,128, 256….if you shoot a lot of large RAW files and 4K videos you need higher capacity cards. The higher the capacity the higher the cost. The cost difference here is very steep.
There is something directly linked to the storage capacity….
There are two types HDSC and type HDXC based on the formatting.
HDSC has a maximum of 32GB and anything larger will be stored as cut files
HDXC has a maximum capacity of 2TB useful for lengthy hi-resolution video files
The transfer speed or the reading speed mentioned in MB/Sec.(95MB/sec, 150 MB/sec, 170 MB/sec, 200 MB/sec, 250 MB/sec, 300MB/sec) Higher the number higher the performance of the card.
More than the reading speed the writing speed is very important and the writing speed of the card has to match the data delivery speed of your camera.
A label with a ‘C’ around talks about the speed class and it is the minimum write performance of a video. For example, C10 10MB/sec for Full HD video recording and fast burst stills
What is a UHS class? How does it matter in data writing?
If you are shooting video this is the most important label marked as V.
V30 Class 30 minimum sequential writing speed 30MB/s (plenty and enough for 4K videos with a high bit rate)
V60 Class 60 minimum sequential writing speed 60MB/s (plenty and enough for 4K videos with a high bit rate)
V90 Class 90 minimum sequential writing speed 90MB/s (useful for shooting 8K videos!)
Sony’s special type SD cards with the label, TOUGH is meant for tough professional use with a tough built quality (hard to break). The writing speed of these cards is also high.
