Just buy the items separate. Also Craigslist has people selling set-ups constantly for half the price.

@@torrielandsman4625 For a long time, our only local shop, which I will not name, was way too expensive. Their attitudes were worse. They charged $25 per 2 cf bag for Happy Frog if they weren't out. They have since gone out of business. We do have one excellent semi local option, Dayton Hydroponics. It's a further drive but they have everything I need at great prices. They, also, give everyone 10% off on all purchases over $100. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend them to anyone near them. I can't say enough good things about them. I strongly urge everyone to try to build a relationship with a local grow shop. However, I know it's not possible for everyone. We aren't all lucky enough to live near a quality grow shop like Dayton Hydroponics. I'm glad I do.

@@freetickeys thumbs up to that, I live in edmonton Alberta Canada and I guess we are lucky here because I have a shop 3 blocks down the street and another one that is a 5 minute drive that is excellent to deal with.

@@torrielandsman4625 I'm a scrogger! Obviously, sativa dominate strains will fill a 6.5x6.5 with fewer plants than indica dominate strains in the same amount of time. Veg time of 1 plant in that tent would take 2-3 months, at least. I ain't got time for that! You wouldn't be happy with the yield of 1 plant of many strains anyway. I'd go 4 sativa doms or 9 indica doms in that tent (if plant count is not an issue) and plan on vegging in 10 gallon pots for about a month under, at least, good conditions. For optimum growth the OP should research vapor pressure deficit. Good luck y'all!

@@freetickeys I grow RDWC and could fill that tent with one plant with no more than 6 weeks veg and by the time it finnished there would be no room to move. right now I have three auto flower strawberry cough plants going and believe it or not my 8x6 room is full, flushing for the last week one to go and I'll be disappointed if I get less than 1 1/2 LB. Next is photo period Jack Herer got 2 seeds and am going to use scrog and see if I cant hit 3 LB with a thousand watts I've only managed to hit 3 Lb once before but I think maybe the Jack Herer is the strain I need because it is a heavy flowering strain that grows awesome stacks of bud. an excellent site to see how I grow is HygroHybrid on you tube, I don't have as much room as him but you'll get the idea I use a similar setup but I use drips in the pots as well as air stones, and a siphon mixer to airate my res.

315w cmh lights are same as 500watt hps. But the cmh has 3 times the cri rating making it much better than a fuckin street light and also runs much cooler !
@torrielandsman4625
@torrielandsman4625 3 жыл бұрын
you are ill informed, street lights use magnetic ballasts which are superior to these digital ballasts and there are no 500 watt HPS lights there are 400w 600w 1000w and I think there is a 150w and 250w. I own 3 315w CMH lights 1 400w fuckin street light (400w) 1 1000w MH 1 1000w HPS and the old school MH and HPS magnetic ballasts have served me well for 3 decades and by the way my 400w is powered by a street light ballast from 1978 so man those fuckin street lights are awsome in my opinion. Digital ballasts fail all the time and mine are older than the oldest digital ballasts and I expect my CMH ballasts to fail before my oldest ones and just so you know I'll put my old fuckin street light up against a CMH any day of the week.

@@torrielandsman4625 your a step away from losing your house in an fire my friend , theres far better ways to grow than the old money guzzling hps lights , why not invest in a lumatek zues pro if you grow so much and the street lights are hps son t 250watt so yes your grow light in principle is an old street light also available in 75w bulbs lol

@@mistermeanor968 my 400w is a HPS street light from the city of Edmonton 1978 and still works perfectly so what makes you believe I would be better off spending thousands of dollars replacing my old lights when they all work perfectly and owe me nothing, the power savings are not enough because as LED tecnology gets better the LEDs are getting power hungry too/ If I was just starting out I would go that way but i'm in my sixtys and would take years for the power saved to make the switch now. and I don't think I'm at risk of a house fire.

Yes they all work well just better spectrum on newer lights thats all i wont argue the buds produced from hps are awesome and the taste is great but i know there are people pulling 930grams dry under a 660watt daylight led which is something you can not do with 1 x 600watt hps but also comes at a ball twisting price , all im saying is if the price drops give one a go 👍

If you are going to sell people on CO2 don't you think you should sell them the rest of the things they need to make a sealed environment? Its a waste to add CO2 to your grow if you are just going to blow it right out of the tent with an exhaust fan! Listen folks you don't need CO2 to grow in these tents as long as you have enough air exchange, you need to buy air conditioning, a dehumidifier, and meters to monitor everything.

There are many factors in studying home aquaponics. One resource I discovered which succeeds in merging these is the Keiths Ponics Site (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the best info that I've heard of. Check out this incredible website.

Pfft how you gonna call it “the professional setup” when you’re running an air cooled hood and Co2?? Please explain how that’s going to work with a ventilated tent for starters. Even if you put the carbon filter outside of the tent you would still need to exhaust the air to get rid of the excess heat from a 1000w HPS, which isn’t even close to enough light to begin with. Those cheap LED’s aren’t going to makeup for it either. You’re going to need to run two 600’s for the proper footprint and you’ll need to recirculate the air too quickly to use Co2 to manage the heat..and it’s unnecessary because you should have enough fresh air coming in anyway.

I use a 50 inch parabolic white reflector with my 1000w HPS and a 6x8 grow room and i get over a gram per watt every grow, last grow netted two pounds thirteen ounces or a gram and a quarter per watt the reflector is the key to a evenly distributed light pattern think about how a maglight focuses and you will figure out how to fine tune your reflector and avoid hot spots with big lights with that said I agree with almost everything in your comment.
