I’ve never use conditioner before. Will it affect my hair? (I heard that if you use conditioner on your roots or hair roots, your hair falls out. So how do I use the conditioner bar like on the roots of my hair or the ends of my hair?) Also, what type of conditioner should I get with the Native Essence Shampoo Bar or it has its own conditioner; for example, Native Essence Shampoo Bar with Citrus Yao Conditioner Bar or Native Essence Shampoo Bar with Native Essence Conditioner Bar?

I don’t know what kind of hair I have, but I think I have thin hair. My hair doesn’t get oily until, I think, 3 or 4-5 days and I never use hair conditioner. I’m afraid hair conditioner might damage my hair sense I’ve never used conditioner on my hair before. What kind do I need since I don’t like too much scent? The Native Essence one is unscented, but will the conditioner bar have affect on my hair that has never used conditioner before.

Yes, I'd say to go for the Native Essence set of shampoo and conditioner. And conditioner won't damage your hair even though you've never used it before. Shampoo is for removing oil and cleansing the scalp while conditioner is for the hair to soften and moisturize hair. These shampoo bars are for anyone who wants to keep their healthy!

Great questions! We recommend washing as often as you are used to and then adjusting from there. We have users who use it daily and some who use it 2-3 times a week. Each user is different so there is no recommended usage per week. We have had feedback from users that have stated they are able to go longer between washes 😊 And yes, you can definitely replace your current shampoo for a bar!

If your hair needs a specific product, go for it! 😊 Typically, users who have tried our bars don't need anything else besides the bars itself after they wash their hair however you know your hair best. Hi there! Thanks for asking! For kids, finding the best shampoo and conditioner bar will depend on their scalp type as well. If their scalp type is more oily, then we recommend using the Citrus Yao. If their scalp is dry, we recommend the Terrace Garden, Hidden Waterfall or Native Essence bars. If it’s normal and doesn’t really lean too much to one way or the other, then any of the bars would work great. 💕 For infants or young children, we do recommend testing out the bar on a small patch of skin first because their skin can be a little bit more sensitive. Thanks for asking, this is a great question! We can't claim "yes or no" that our products will prevent or reverse gray hair, although we have had a handful of customers claim they are seeing less gray hair after using our products. What we are claiming in this post is that (1) the Red Yao have been washing their hair with Longsheng Rice water for nearly 2,000 years. Their hair is gray free well into their 80s. (2) Now, this is where people come in and say genetics, diet, etc. And they are right except for the fact that rice protein, inositol (a byproduct of fermented rice), and panthenol (a byprpduct of fermented rice) all have dozens of clinical studies backing their anti-aging properties. It is also interesting to note that males of this same tribe do not have gray free hair, and do not normally wash their hair with rice water. We hope this helps answer your question!

Hmm I have very thick long wavy hair that splits and breaks none stop even without using any heat. My hair doesn’t get oily at all they are very dry and very tangled so I go through conditioner a lot faster than shampoo. I am still very skeptical that this would do anything for my hair. I have watched so many videos on it already a lot mixed reviews. But I guess I will never know until I try it.

I was very skeptical too until I finally tried it. My hair was exactly like yours super dry but I really recommend that you use both shampoo and the conditioner to get the best results. I just finished hidden waterfall and about to start using terrace garden. I tried every shampoo out there and this is the only one that has worked for me.

Great question, Kacey! It's totally up to your scent preference. They each smell very elegant and unique in their own way. Terrace Garden bars smell like a fresh, green, floral shop - not too overwhelming. Very earthy or fresh floral smelling; people say the lilac in it stands out the most. Hidden Waterfall is a soft, vanilla, amber, musk scent. This one is hard to describe. But definitely falls into the musk category because it has a subtle woodsy smell to it, but it's a soft/sweet musk. Native Essence is unscented, but if you put your nose right up close to it, it has a wheat/barley smell to it. It's an earthy scent and very subtle. And, Citrus Yao is an amazing burst of mixed citrus scents. This definitely leans towards an orange citrus scent rather than lemon. We hope this helps! 😊

Anyone here have psoriasis and notice a difference? I'm at the point now where I'm getting it in and behind my ears. I only had it on my scalp for the longest time.
