They do make Violins bigger than 4/4 size which are 5/4 and 6/4 Sizes and they're great for musicians who find that a 4/4 Size Violin just isn't big enough for them.

This methodology shown in the video has an obvious flaw. Some people have short fingers and some have long fingers and yet they may both have the same length measured between the palm and the base of the neck. The person with the shorter fingers may find it very hard to do a good vibrato using a violin measured by this method. A more correct methodology is to use a chart based on the distance from the base of the neck to the tip of a finger, be it the pinkie, index, or middle finger.
