Great video bro 🍀. One thing I would additionally mention is to check if the degree counts as a STEM designated, or non-STEM designated degree. This is for after graduation, when looking for work. A STEM degree is eligible for 3 years (1 year + 2 year extension) of OPT, while a non-STEM degree is only eligible for 1 year of OPT. People studying Engineering, Computer Science etc. don't need to worry about this, but people studying programs like Business (MBA), Public Health, Analytics etc. might want to check if a school designates the degree as STEM or non-STEM. For example, The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree offered by Northeastern University is considered non-STEM, while the MPH degree offered by New York University is considered a STEM degree. Another example is the MBA program, which doesn't necessarily look like a STEM degree. However, a couple of business schools have designated either their entire program, or certain tracks of the MBA program as a STEM degree. Anyone applying to any school can email or call the admissions office and verify if the degree they're applying to is considered STEM or non-STEM.

Nothing is impossible. If you want to get into MIT for undergraduate then you can. Look for people that have done so (on KZbin, LinkedIn, etc) and find out how they did it. Then do the same thing. You can also look for their requirements and get them. You can read about it on their website: mitadmissions.org/apply/firstyear/first-year-eligibility/ Getting into MIT is a big dream which requires a big sacrifice. If you are willing to make the sacrifices then you’re already in MIT. 😊

Proof of funds “at the point of application”? I’ve never applied to a school that required proof of funds before giving me admission. That already implies to me that they don’t plan to give you scholarships to please apply to other schools. Yes they require proof of funds before issuing you an I-20 but this should happen after your admission and scholarship. So the proof of funds should cover what the scholarship doesn’t cover.

Hmmmm… This question made me do some research. I really understand your shoes because with a BSc in Entrepreneurship and Business Management, the natural masters is an MBA. But few US MBAs get good scholarships. (Although I’ll advise you do more research on getting MBA scholarships if this interests you). For related courses, I’ll recommend: 1. Financial Economics 2. Information Systems 3. Business Analytics These are slight deviations from your BSc (and you might need to learn some things) but I feel they are still closely related. Hope this helps. I wish you the very best in your applications.

It depends on what you’ll call a “good” advisor. If it’s an advisor in your field of interest then you can find that out through their Google Scholar profile. If it’s an advisor who you have character compatibility with then I can’t really say. 😀

Hi Felix, Welcome to the family. 🎉🎉🎉 Thanks for your extensive question too. 😀. Exams here are in different formats. I’ve written multiple choice, programming, fill-in-the-gaps and also theory questions. I have written in-class and take-home exams. It just depends on the lecturer and the course too. From my experience, the lecturers give you the exam in the best format possible that would guarantee you learn it well. They actually want you to pass. Thanks for the video suggestion. I’ll add it to my list.

I got to 10:43 and my eyes lit up. I also have a Bsc in Mathematics, just concluded MSc in Mathematics and now gearing towards AI or education for PhD. This video just gave me a moral boost after I heard you say we mustn’t do same thing all through as guilt has been killing me.
