oh my, such a handsome big boy! i need metal bowls that are in 432, do you have any advice. i do music, drone sound healing type. i have listened and measured the tones of dozens online and have yet to find ones that are really tuned (not like the crystal ones which i do not prefer, but are usually well tuned)

I find that for anything other than crystal - I prefer to see them, touch them, and hear them prior to purchase. Online just isn't quite the same experience. Most of my metal bowls were purchased in person (except about 3) and I think that each bowl is SO unique that you need to find the ones that resonate with you in person : )

I purchased most of these all around the US as I traveled but a metaphysical store near you should carry some. Often it's the size of the bowl that has much to do with depth so look for slightly larger ones. These are all blended metals.

That's not possible here in Hawaii so I checked out your recommended website. The discount no longer works, in case you want to update this page for readers. Just bought my 1st sining bowl, the person who sold the bowl told me once you hit the bowl you shouldn’t stop vibration, over time it’ll effect the sound..😀

That's interesting as I have never read or heard that before. The touch of your skin and the oils on your hands will eventually change the resonance and make it unique to you though! Use the bowl however you feel most comfortable though and enjoy!

Can I put Crystals in the singing bowl while I play it.

Putting crystals might change the resonance and will probably make a small rattle sound as this bowl will resonate quite strongly. You could try a larger flat based crystal though?

The size of the bowl is less important than the sound. Some medium bowls can have a very deep resonance while larger bowls may not. What sound resonates with you? I always test my bowls first in person or look for a recording of the bowl (or ask for one) if buying on line. See what calls to you and whatever size that is, it's meant to be : )
