Works but tricky as fuck getting the the stop starts to line up chopping a breakbeat and making it smooth. But on the whole yeah good little technique just needs me to play about a bit. Big up

yeah for breakbeats i wish there was an auto slicer somewhat.

@@katrahqueymusic it'd be a lot easier for breaks that way or if the looping screen had note markers like the wave table so you had marks to line up to. Hey ho no worries tho. With a little prating around its a wicked little technique ive bn looking for. Nice1

@@katrahqueymusic how mate. Had a little fuck around with a breakbeat n think i got it sussed. Got a loop over 4 beats so loaded it 16 times into the sampler copying your technique. Obviously the loop is synched correctly and sounds pretty quantised (just done a quick job but sounds quite tight). Now when you're in the loop editor the green and red stop start flags are the size of a 16th note so with setting it in the right place its a case of placing the poles together a flag apart and stepping it over like that 16 times for each sample. So in the piano roll i got 16 steps going from c4 to d#5 like midi slice, release right off in the ADSR. Play it through sounds spot on. Another thing I might try is chopping it up in the wave editer on the note lines then load each saved edit into the sampler to get the same result.

@@katrahqueymusic another thing ive just worked out for tweaking the start stops..... Load up the break again as say sample 17 and play it together with the 16 slices. You get the mad phaze effect but you get to here the pops on the other keys if your slightly out. I had a few, tweaked to suit then got a full one on top of the other phaze with no popping, so job complete

i just opened caustic 3.2 on my pc which its been months. And now the shit doesn't work. Everything sounds time stretched and slow.. crazy. the developer needs to update this shit Or i lost mad songs unless i mix and master those tracks on my phone then export the stems to another daw. Is anyone else having this issue on Windows?
