I partially wrapped my airplane. The key to success for me was that I spent more time watching KZbin videos than I did wrapping. I did waste some wrap but it came out just perfect. Now I'm thinking about rewrapping the entire plane in chrome.

I used to tint windows for a living, years ago. I had about 10 years experience before I noticed that I was losing my talent for it. Towards the end, I noticed I was getting dirt in my tint, creases, running out of patience. I'm almost worried to go back to it as a hobby or doing my own cars. I have a hard time paying someone to do something I should be doing.

Its taken the bplace of tinting for me and I enjoy it and I'm now making some nice work. I have an F-350 that I would like to wrap in a metallic blue, so I may take your advice there and see how it goes. 👍

What is the technique to doing the door without having the wrap stick to the panel you just done knowing the panel is a much larger area then trying to dodge the hood wrap

Why cant you heat it and stretch it with the cap on? Just wondering if that would of been a better idea then to peel it to final layer and risk scratching or scuffing

Because the cap doesn't stretch with or without heat, it's not a pliable layer.

You can't butt it and just leave it, it requires one or two more additional pieces. The butt joint will potentially separate over time if its left alone. You can email [e-mail] to purchase the film

You didnt open the doors or tuck the wrap into the creases of the cars body frame im more than 90% sure that wrap is going to peel on the edges in a few months...had one done the same way hes doing it looked nice for a while then it peeled

Hi could you solve me a doubt? I need to know what sizes I need to do the design but not in vector format not in .ai but in bit map design in Photoshop, in vector format is easy i just download a blueprint of the model car, and keeping the 1:20 scale I dont worried about the measures, but in bitmap I always do the design in acurate measures not working in scale like 1:20 or 1:10 , I use the 100% measures with a extra area of bleed, and 75dpi, is it the corect way to do it ? or what is the scale I must to use?
