Yes, he worked on a cover of Behind The Mask by Yellow Magic Orchestra, but sadly never finished it. You can find the recently remixed version as well as a demo.

I think he gave birth to city pop lmfao Look at how similar Stay With Me and It's Like Falling In Love. To be fair, japanese city pop was inspired by Americans (i personally preferred japanese over american when it comes to city pop)
@Bruvwavy Жыл бұрын
Lol city pop literally means western music it takes element from Western musical style Michael was pioneering it alongside other artists like Bobby cadwell

Yeah, that about covers it. Your choice of going with 3 chords instead of 4 is kinda strange though. There is almost always a vi chord at the end of city pop chord pogressions.
@bigbabycam93023 жыл бұрын
I will try that next time, thank you! It's honestly just personal preference because I love the basic 2-5-1 pattern haha

@yoos03132 жыл бұрын
what is "slap" ? pls
@bigbabycam93022 жыл бұрын
It's a specific style of playing the bass guitar, that's really common in funk music and its subgenres. Check out this video for a good example from the guy who popularized it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZ2sk6mgZ6p1p68
