How To CLAY BAR | Ceramic Spray Wax | Complete Detail Wash On Car

Here is how I go about claying and spray waxing a vehicle. In this video I do a simple walk-through and explanation of the process I do.
First, we hit the wheels, tires, and wheel wells for a deep clean. Second, I do a bug prep on the front end to remove any and all bugs, then we move on the the actual wash now that the car if fully prepped. We do an initial rinse off, foam down, wipe all paint, rinse off again and then start the claying process. We then clay all paint and windows and after claying we move to the spray wax and hit all paint and windows.

Hi Guys, let nme get some feeling about this. You criticized the fact that after claying polishing was not done. No this wasn’t a black Porsche or Ferrari. I have a feeling that after spending hours upon hours Devon, claying, polishing, waxing etc. the average client brings it to the car wash two weeks later where the dirty brushes embed marks in the paint and low and behold the client is proud how clean and nice their car looks. Many times all the work we put into it, goes to pieces.

Ever think of upgrading that cannon so you can get thick foam? I purchased the MTM and its the best purchase ive made yet. X10 longer working time with the foam especially in the sun

When starting out I didnt want to break the bank on a foam cannon, I got this one for like 20 bucks and its been doing the job well enough for me. I probably could increase the soap and water ratio to add more foam. But when this one breaks on me I will more than likely get a nicer one, thank you for the suggestion!

Nice video how did you manage not to get any marring after using Mitt as I thought you would need to polish to get rid of micromarring or is the medium mitt and lube good enough to avoid marring?

If you keep it lubed enough you do not have to worry and even then with the wax after you can lightly buff away. You do have to pay attention the the heat and lube because you can easily have the clay mitt melt and mar the paint

If a customer wants to pay for a polish then yes, clay can cause marring but in reality, depending on conditions, not even noticeable. This wasn't a heavy/aggressive clay, wasn't a heavily contaminated vehicle either. Come time a polish or correction can be done to clean up the paint. Even washing your car normal can cause minor damage to the paint...

I charge anywhere from 190-250, depending on conditions and size, there can also be numerous up charges when doing this service such as tar and waterspot removal, things that may not came off with just a clay bar. The condition of embedded contaminates can also result in a higher price.
