Very good video! That’s what car valeting is about. Speed, good result and value for money, that’s what car dealers are looking for. Please don’t mistake that for "detailng", where you might have much more time for each car. AUTOGLYM Professsional is the brand, that can save you huge amount of time for each process. Well done.

Definitely invest in a car blow dryer - saves a lot of water spots and the build-up of water minerals within insignia etc. Also, I would recommend raising the wipers and opening the filler cap to facilitate cleaning and the inside filler cap area is often neglected. Contrary to what said, I’ve never experienced wiper blades causing issues when pressure hosing - just be careful. Also, for sills and below use a separate micro fibre mitt. Some useful tops here, however. Enjoyed it. Two bucket method absolute requirement for me.

Why do companies sell the public retail products and then have trade products? If i want to clean my car i want the best stuff to use.
@johnmelling99502 ай бұрын
A lot of the Autoglym trade products are exactly the same as the retail products just with different name. Super Resin Polish=Radiant Wax, Vinyl & Rubber Care=Super Sheen etc. You may find some trade products come ready to use but the trade version is concentrated and requires diluting. Sometimes a trade product may not be available in the retail range because in untrained hands it could cause damage to the vehicle or user if used incorrectly. Theres no secret or better ingredients in the trade products that makes them superior to the retail. Having the best products helps but user experience and skill is just as important, if not more important than the actual product.

TFR??!! That’s a bit strong isn’t it especially on my plastic chrome bits. Like the techniques more than his products ( trade?)
@AutoglymUK2 ай бұрын
Don't let the name frighten you, the strength of TFR 's is on a sliding scale, not all of it is super strong caustic. As you would hopefully expect, the products we recommended to James were safe, effective and non-damaging. If you really don't want to use a product called a TFR, you can use the same method with an APC.

Some surprising tips here that I would not adopt. Much better alternative KZbin channels for the detailers - autoglym have good products but there are very good alternatives - some more cost effective. Plus some methods here I would not recommend.

Some of the 'techniques' and reasons for using them, by this so-called 'expert' are completely opposite from the dozens of professional car detailers, and in fact, myself who has years of experience in detailing. I strongly urge viewers to do their own research because this 'expert' seems nothing more than a product salesman who doesn't really know as much as he 'thinks' he knows.

@RGV250FORSALEАй бұрын
Autoglym does give a nice shine - but.... it's full of fillers that hide small scratches and swirls - and it only lasts a couple of washes and needs to be re-done again. Ideally a machine polish to remove the swirls - not just hide them - then either a good wax or a ceramic coat - your choice.
