Back pressure from the water hose works wonders. Have taken a many of these type pumps apart to clean them out over the years. Awesome tips buddy! Stay safe and hope you have a great weekend!

I cleaned it good…..was clogged…..blew into it and no problems, until I put it in the water and the little propeller keeps stopping. Take it out and it runs again. Doesn’t like water I guess. Time to buy a new one?

Yeah I would. I personally don’t think they are worth fixing if you could even find the part and replace it. Sounds like the motor to me, which is the most expensive part of a néw one. Good luck and Happy Spring.
