Any chance you've ever cleaned up a Hohner Little Lady?? I'm just running into a wall on how to take it apart without destroying the top and bottom. I wear mine on my neck and every now and then, I'll see a grumpy child and play a song on it, and their face and attitude completely changes. The parent gives me a great smile and the child is in amazement as to how I made the sounds. Especially if you can play it with it between your index and middle fingers. I think it's a bit gunky inside and I just need to be able to take it apart and give it a good cleaning. I have the Harmo harmonica tool as well as about 30 various bits in stainless handles that are all small and can get in the same places the Harmo can get into except for the very thin shims the Harmo has. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'd prefer to be able to get inside my harmonicas and clean and tune them the various ways that I've found on KZbin but, not many work on the Little Lady. There are videos of people playing it and that's about it.

Hi! Thank you for your comment. Little Lady harmonica is a really great instrument! I think is not different from our video to open and clean up. The only thing to be careful is that all the components will be smaller, but harmonicas generally are really strong so don’t worry about damage, only remember how to re-assemble all…maybe film yourself so you could re-see the process :)

No No NO! I’m sorry, but I would never use a degreaser on my harmonicas. Only water and alcohol. No soap, either. Harmonicas, even really dirty ones, don’t need other chemicals to clean them. A toothbrush on the covers with with warm water, and/or alcohol, is all you need. Degreasers are poisonous, and any residue could end up in my mouth. IMO, degreasers are totally unnecessary for regular harmonica cleaning.
