I tried this, and it sort of worked. The stains slightly faded, but not as much as the video showed (I think because my stains are older) One thing I would like to say about this is the process pulls out the smells of anything that’s been on the bed. So if your trying to clean out pee, get ready for the mattress to smell like pee. I’m going to try and air out the room and put some essential oils on it to try and get rid of the smell. But I do feel like this is a good way to get the mattress clean. I just might do some extra cleaning after the process is done

Wow. Finally a solution that actually works! I have a badly stained mattress and even though it has a cover, I was nervous about removing the cover as I doubt I could get it back on so I decided to try these steps instead though I was not expecting much. I took before and after pictures and WOW I am blown away by the difference. It made a great job of the mattress. There are some slight stains remaining but they are much much fainter than before and I am thrilled with the results. Thank you Sleepopolis

This was amazing. I had an incident happen with an expensive mattress with a removable cover, but even taking it to dry cleaners did not work. I wish I had known this. Am going to write it all down, like a recipe and put with my essential oil files, so I do not have to hunt for it. It is awesome being able to use healthy things in your home to clean, and not chemicals. One cannot go wrong with Water, Baking Soda, Vinegar, and clear liquid detergent. ( using a natural one)... Thank you for this!

Hiya I have a couple of questions regarding the additional tip, mentioned from 4.20 1. If it’s suitable for blood/ urine, would it be suitable for tea stains? 2. Would I use this method in addition to the main method? Say I wanted to clean my entire mattress, but had additional tea stains which I wanted to give extra attention to, would I go over the whole mattress using the hydrogen peroxide / dish soap solution IN ADDITION TO applying the white vinegar/ water solution? 3. And finally, if I were to go over tough stains with the vinegar/ water solution, how how long should I leave it to dry for? Would it be overnight? Thank you very much 😁 Hope this made sense 😂

Start EVERY new mattress with mattress pad or mattress topper from $15 to $40 if you shop around). Every two or three months throw it in the wash with bleach, detergent and fabric softener (use the one for baby clothes if you want to sleep like a baby). Replace with a new one every 12 to 18 months. Your mattress will not be getting any stains.

I use this method as well. One time my 2 year old spilled grape juice on the bed and I thought I would have to throw away my mattress. Also I use a pinch of either peppermint, lavender or orange oil and it makes the mattress smell wonderful and wards off bed bugs and dust mites. Thanks for sharing💜
