You never know 100% how a color combination will work until you actually see it. I've seen colors you wouldn't think would look good at all together, yet when you see it something about it just works. Good luck whatever you choose.

I bought a steamer with a brush on it from Walmart on clearance for 14$ it works magic on detailing engines!

In the future a torch will help get that epoxy stuff off. A torch and wire brush/wheel will clean the area before welding. It's what I use when seam welding a unibody race chassis.

For frame/wheel color. Honda used to do gold wheels on their red while and blue Honda racing xr's and I always loved that color scheme. Worth looking at. I think they specifically used to do it on the xr600r's but could be wrong. But don't sleep on the gold wheels.

I found this video, oddly satisfying. I believe you should make the bike frame, swing arm and body panels in a military theme in respect for all the lives that have been given for you to have the freedom to do the things that you do. Just a thought from a veteran. Earth tones camouflage, that sort of thing.

Bronz would be sick!!! WD 40 has kerosene as one of the ingredients. Great for rubber, cleaning and preserving. I use it to clean my drive chain

I vote bronze too. Just a thought, but if you have moisture from those gaps at the rear subframe that’s still stuck in there with the potential to rot out from inside? Worth drilling a couple of small holes low down to check and maybe nitrogen pushed through to dry and inert? In my distant past we used nitrogen to fill truck tyres to stop the wheels corroding from wet compressed air and why I suggest it.

Friend, I'm from Russia. I see how you try and tune this motorcycle. But I have one question. Why didn't you buy the crf 450 rl, which is much more powerful and lighter than yours about 35-40 pounds. I think the 300l is a motorcycle for losers.
