How to Clean a Nespresso Machine

I've had numerous problems with my Vertuo Next, they replaced it with the Rounnd-head saying the Vertuo Next has "known problems". I've had to send the Round-head back twice for repairs because it was giving me watery coffee. It's so frustrating because I love the coffee! And yes, I cleaned it numerous times and did the troubleshooting over the phone with them. They also said cleaning it with anything but the Nespresso descaler will void the warranty, but if it starts acting up again, I'd be willing to try anything!!

Wow that descaler really makes a difference over just using vinegar.

The website states to specifically not use vinegar that it can hurt the machine. Have they changed their policy on that?

The website says specifically NOT to use vinegar! I had pulled it out to use and read that. Have you had issues with your machine after using vinegar?

I used their cleaner and it etched my concrete counter tops a bit. Oops 🤐

Hygiene knowledge is lacking here...Just put all those parts in the dishwasher, no need to scrub with a brush, which may not be clean....And use one time disinfection wipes for the rest of the machine, not an old rag which is just spreading the gunk from one part to another.
