How To Clean A Pressure Washer Carburetor

On this video I will go over a carburetor from a small 6 hp Kohler Engine , I will show some important steps needed to clean the carburetor internal jets,

Good video. I was able to fix mine following your guide. I think next time I’ll add fuel stabilizer to the gas to keep it from gumming up in the carburetor.

Didn't work for me. Already changed spark plug. 2 oil changes. Maybe the wire connected to spark plug? Or it's just done for. Bought mine in 2017. It's a 2200 psi Power Stroke 150CC

What stops the throttle from being wide open all the time I cleaned my carby but now when I let the choke off the throttle is wide open reving it's guts out

I'm thinking about converting to hydrogen at least the first firings would clean it out.. could I use a match to the hydrogen or gasoline to burnt it out?

Just inherited a basket case karcher with a Rato RV173 motor... It came with a new carb, so installed it set choke and it fired first pull, given it had sat for years.. not bad I thought, then I shut off choke. stalled immediately 😢, won't run without full choke.. New carb adjustment? But can't find anything on the carbs for rato.. also I'm not familiar with those carbs or small engine carbs, been many decades since I tinkered.. what is the machined channel on the engine side face of carb, sort of spiral and open down at lower end of carb.. was told that they are redundant, but why would the take time to machine it into the piece.... ?

Good video. What do you think about a carb that the fuel dried out causing a shellac problem. Would soaking a few day in cleaner or using s9mething else to get it off or just getting another carb or power washer?

Yes soak it in carb cleaner you just be able to disassemble it easy

When I took the lock bolt on the governor. I didn't check if the pin was open clockwise or open counter clockwise😮. How do I know if I locked it in the correct setting
