Wow, that sounds like nice scope :) Lot of mirror to clena ;) Good luck with the cleaning (you can also take a look at my 2nd mirror cleaning video which contains the preffered method from ASA) I think that method is better suited for larger mirrors also. /Daniel

Can you post a link to the ASA paper?

@@ExoPhotography1 I used the method that was demonstrated today to clean my mirror, and it now appears as if it's brand new.

Thank you very much, this technique was great to follow, cleaned my mirrors and the look 99% better than before. I still have some specks but I have to live with that. Unless you have more ideas for the stubborn ones. Maybe more dish detergent focus on those specks? You think that will work? I wish I can show you pictures here.

Glad to hear it worked out good for you! You can try to soak the speck with some detergent...

what kind of wipes should I look for? I am worried about getting some that rip apart when wet.

I use lint free wipes. Some manufacturers marks them as lint free baby wipes (dry, non - parfumed etc.)

Is the primary mirror base custom made? Do you have a design for reference?

No, you can buy it from Telescope Express in Germany, very satisfied with it! /Daniel
