The studio looks great Mike! Good job on the filter cleaning tutorial. I have the flat OEM K&N replacements on my 87 Mustang and one of my son's Vibes. It is nice to just clean them and not have to buy new filters.

@Thomas Bailey - thanks for checking in, and for the compliments on the new studio! I'm looking forward to having the camera and lights readily available so it's easier to make videos when the occasion arises. Ironically I set up our studio area and then made my first video mostly in my garage, laundry room and workshop. I was determined to get a few shots in at the desk! I've also used the flat K&N performance filters, and I really like them. It's a great feeling washing them and seeing all the gunk come out. I warned my wife that the Accord is going to be much faster now that the filter is clean. :)

Very informative and timely video. My K&N air filter, although it is enclosed in an air filter housing, is way overdue for a cleaning. Just have to purchase a kit. BTW, that is pretty neat light set in the background in the closing seconds of your video.

Hi Marc! Yeah, now is a great time to clean filters. Because there are better things to do when the weather gets warm again! The crazy lamp on the desk was a gift from my parents many many moons ago. It was fun dusting it off when I remodeled.

Lj Sites - Thank you for the holiday wishes! The spoiler issue haunts me every day. There are not a lot of spoiler choices for the convertible, at least ones where the manufacturer says it will work. I am partial to the Cervini stalker spoiler in particular, but no matter how many times I call them they say it won’t fit on my car!

Arent you suppose to spray the oil at the top of the crown and let it slide down to bottom. Too much oil causes damage to the check engine light

So i used a wire brush on my k&n because of this video and it made more than half the cotton come out of the filter. Now i have to buy a new one... Smh. Do not use a wire brush
