I wouldn't mind seeing some tips and cheats to make doing things like changing spark plugs easier. I know using a rubber hose that can fit over a spark plug can help to install plugs by hand and getting them hand started to reduce cross threading. Keep doing what you're doing brother! I'm in the uk and had a race against my dads mate in his Saab 9-3 2.0 turbo I was in my sciroco 2.0tdi remaped/tuned to 220 hp and silly amount of torque I beat him of the line and all the way up to 100 mph he was only a few car lengths back but yh I scared the shit out my bro in the passenger seat lol it was quite an even race but the saab 9-3 convertible had more turbo lag and no sport mode lol

A good top tip is to use clear paint protection film at the end of this process. Not only does it protect from UV but also from stonechips.

The great thing about the E46 Prefacelift headlights is the ability to replace the lenses, I eventually paid about $75 for new Bosch lenses.

I will be using Weathertechs headlight film after I clean my lenses. I only have a bit if crusty Yello near the top of the lens. The bottom is really clear. So if I got the Mcguires, should I even use that last protective step?

There's a clear plastic film that the car companies use that last for a good long while that you can use but truth be told there really is no permanent fix for this issue.

@@nolahahnshouse3389 after they start going cloudy, usually around 10 years or so you have basically 2 choices : buy new ones, or, polish ( and keep polishing ) your old ones. You can try different methods of polishing and protecting but once the need for polishing arrives it's a recurring problem.

With 2$ budget (I know, it is twice the budget ...), you could have bought a 1200-1600 sand paper to pass with soapy water after the toothpath. I guess the result would have been really better ; but it is not lasting anyway. What shock me the most in your video is the chrome bumper grill. Why not replacing it for a black one like on your other car ?

Just buy an orange foam polishing pad for your drill on amazon for $5 and some mother’s wheel polish for $7 Will come out better than those methods and takes less than 5 mins an headlight. Takes longer to Mask off the area.
