First I would like to thank you because of all your video related to fish. It really help us to know about all the fish shops. My daughter loves your title music. Now coming to the point. I am from pune and I am personal aquarist. Recently I have started keeping discus fish at home. Lot of challenges I faced at initial time. Many of the discus was died. But now condition is little stable. If you could cover some informative video like how to keep discus fish then it will be helpful for us. Not only discus, you can cover such informative video how to keep difficult fishes. And also if you cover shop in pune then also will good for me. I am staying in pune from last 5 years only, and not aware of many good aquarium shop in pune. Thank you

Thank you so much. I'm glad to know that. Yes Discus are actually difficult to keep. Only experienced discus keepers are able to keep them successfully. Sure would try. In the past i have covered India's largest discus fish farm. In that video the discus fish farm owner has shared quite good knowledge on discus keeping. You'll find that video in the fish farm playlist in the playlist section of the channel. And also wanted to tell you i have already covered three fish shops at Pune. They are Jai Hind of Pashan, Aqua Rio of Dhankawadi and Hooked on Fishes of Mohammedwadi. Thanks a lot. That means a lot. So suppose if you are having too many fishes in your tank or if you tank water gets dirty in two weeks then you should clean the canister once in fifteen days otherwise it should be done once in a month.

Hii SJ, I have also sunsun 302 canister filter. Performance wise really good & maintenance also very easy. I am always clean hose pipe also. Because algae deposited in hose pipe and obstruct water flow also.

@@SJInceptions remove hose pipe from accessories. Take a long spring. You will easily get it from any hardware store. Wind used child toothbrush on top of the spring & insert spring in hose pipe. Algae will remove automatically. Repeat this exercise twice or more time. You will see clean hose pipe. There is a technique to remove hose pipe from accessories. Move hose pipe right to left continuous. Don't be pull hose pipe from accessories . Otherwise it will get damage.

I do this same but with a unused pipe to insert inside the hoses and from the non inserted other pipe end i pass the water flow. But it does not really clean the algae as needed. Attaching a brush at the spring would be helpful. I'll try that. And to remove hoses there is that round circular cap thing attached with hoses i just rotate them on the opposite side then the hoses get removed very easily without even pulling them. Its the same procedure done when we connect hoses during setup just the opposite way during cleaning.

Filtration is said that if tank is of 200 liter you should go for 10 times means 2000 liter/hour output filter. So my question is my tank is of 50 gallon (190 liter) around. Size is 3×1.5×1.5 feet. Is this canister okay for that? Or should I got for lower output. Kindly reply it would help na lot in deciding. Fishe I am keeping are tiger barb-6 ,blood parrot-4, and clown loach-4

Dude Water flow is from top to bottom. ( Water goes through the UV light and reaches to the bottom of the filter, then water is pulled from bottom to top). So last tray would be mechanical (sponge) then midle two trays should be biological ( pores media) and very top tray should be chemical media. Please don't use sponge in every tray it will clough your biological media. Use two or three sponge in bottom tray. That should be enough! Trust me I am using these filters since 4 years. And maintenance is needed only twice in a year.

Hi, 1. It sucks all the fish wastage lying on the bottom ( not using and gravel or sand) into the filter 2. And how is the inlet gravity ( sucking pressure) it is high or low. Because i using canister recently it not sucks much more. Wastages in center part of the tank not suck into the filter

How is the motor?? does the motor make any sound or is silent Also I hope you change your carbon media every month, as they are literally useless after a month and can be bad for your fish health... I only use carbon to remove smell or medication from the tank and then throw the used carbon...
