This is an excellent video, the explanations are clear and easy to follow. A tip for anyone following this is to use an icecube tray to put the tiny screws in, in order as you remove them. That way they don't get lost, and you get the right ones in the right holes :-)

Thank you very much, this video is really useful. I wonted to repair the headphones connector, but when it was open, i mean just completly taken apart, i cleaned the vent. There was not lot of dust, there was horribly to much dust. You could say there was no cooling anymore. I used pressured air to clean it sometimes, but that was really unliked suprise . However, thanks you again :)

Is there a CMOS battery present in HP-630 ? And is it a CR2032 type or an internal non-replaceable one that takes its charge from the main battery to maintain bios date etc.

Hello, First you have to look at your CPU, if it's soldered to mainboard then you can't replace it. If it is not soldered then you have to find out which type of CPU you have, for example AMD or Intel. Then you need to find in Internet shop a new one which. I recomend to choose CPU which was made in the same year as yours. After this you can replace it.

Hello Good Sir, I Didn't Know I'd Have To Reapply The Thermal Paste, So The Question Is, Do I DEFINITELY NEED To Reapply The Thermal Paste Or Can I Use The Old One, (Untampered With) ?? Your Reply Is Greatly Appreciated.

Can I replace CPU in this computer?
@basicusevideo11 жыл бұрын
But, I have to warn you about two things which could happen: 1) Sometimes manufacturer set in BIOS some check which doesn't allow you to replace your CPU. If you do this, your laptop won't work. 2) If you choose a very new CPU, it can heat a lot then your cooling system won't be able to cope with it.

What if no thermal paste is inserted?
@ElBrocoStudios9 жыл бұрын
Macedonian Tuber The heat cannot be transferred effectively from your cpu to the heatsink and ultimately the cooler, which will cause your cpu to overheat incredibly quickly. DO NOT DO THAT! This will most likely kill your cpu.
