I researched a little bit... Gel gloss comes in different sizes, spray and bottled. It's also sold at the big box home improvement stores.

Sir, thanks for this. What can I use to remove very fine surface scratches from the counter top? Not noticeable if you just look form a distance, , but as the owner I can see them if I inspect closely.

So what do I use for calcium water spots...not going to be able to get them with a paper towel...I do not recommend cultured marble and if I had know I would never have spent so much damned money on it for both of my bathrooms. Good grief what a nightmare. So I guess there is nothing I can use for that.

What is the difference between cultured marble, stone resin, polymarble, solid surface and Acrylic composition? What can be considered major positives and negatives for each of these types of bathroom vanity counters with built in sinks integrated in one piece? Are these fabricated vanities durable long lasting, heat resistant, color change resistant, chip resistant and any other item to consider?

I have cultured marble in my 2 bathrooms for tub walls, garden tub, shower, and sink vanities (TX home built in 2005-2006). I believe it is fiberglass, from what I was told. I really like it - it looks like marble, without the cost, or care. ( Though I still have to use gentle cleaners on it.) Our cultured marble is a nice color mix of ivory, with very light silvery beige veining. I also like that there are very few seams for mildew to collect in, vs. tile. Garden tub is one piece, with cultured marble walls going up a foot. Sink vanities are one piece, with the back splash, sidesplash exceptions. Tub wall is 3 Cultured marble pieces almost up to the 9ft. ceiling. Still looks great, with the exception of the area around the sink vanity drains. My sink drain looks great, but a few sink drain areas have a slight cast/staining, due to age? Strong chemicals poured down by other family members?

I replaced my old metal framed glass shower surround with a frameless glass(Euro-shower) surround. The problem I encountered was that when I removed the old surround I was left with a nasty yellowish/brown stain right down the center of the bottom of both the half-wall side and the side under the door threshold and to a lesser extent on the walls where the old glass frames were attached and siliconed in. I tried everything imaginable and none worked till I tried an automobile headlamp restoration kit. It really worked well. It was a lot of work but I got them looking almost new. It uses progressively finer sand papers and fine compound. It did slightly dull the surface(note - you need to do the entire surface, not just the stained area)... after the sanding process, I used the buffing pad with the polish provided and the surface was perfect. I then put on two coats of tile sealer. Not for a novice DIYer or one without patience.

There’s a product called Sugru, like plasticine you can mix it to match the colour then wait 24 hours for it to set to rubber. The only thing is, it is a matt finish so perhaps if necessary you could try some sort of varnish on it ?

Basically, what it comes down to is Cultured Marble sucks. It's an inferior product for kitchen and bath applications. Those living areas require great attention to sanitization. Cultured Marble is not versatile enough to support such applications.
