Thanks for the great tutorial video. Saves me from making a service call. I’d also like to add that sometimes milk deposits do accumulate inside the bend of the plastic tubes. You cannot see it. You’ll need a small hexagon wrench, unscrew all the little screws in order to open up the black handle part of the milk canister. Mine was so clogged one time that I had to blow into one end of the tube in order to clear the blockage.

Great vid, thank you for posting. Is there any trick to taking off that cover to access the two hoses? The larger side on mine does not want to come off, I don't want to force it and damage it.

Mine only has one hose and the front will not come off like this one. Any solutions to getting the hose back on? It’s connected down in an inaccessible area. Thank you.

my miele that looks just like this video, says "clean brewing unit" every time after grinding the coffee beans. I take it out and clean, i've dropped the cleaning tablet in several times. nothing works. when I go to clean the waste basket, I see the coffee beans are dry, not wet like they normally should look. any ideas?

Hi and thanks for the video. My Miele is plugged. But just the coffee part of it. The self rinsing works except when it gets to the part where it wants to rinse the coffee part. Nothing comes out. But the rest of it rinses. And when making coffee you can hear it get backed up and tries like heck but won't come out. Any ideas. Thanks so much.

Error at 0:19!!! DO NOT use a screwdriver to pry the milk pipework. The correct process for disassembling is to remove the dispensing nozzles first (0:38-0:50), then remove the milk pipework. If you do it this way, the entire milk pipework unit will slide out. From there, the Miele manual (CVA 4066 p 44) recommends cleaning the entire unit in the dishwasher, and using a fine pipecleaner/brush to clean residue from inside the pipes.

FYI, The entire unit on the rear of the door with the 2 milk hoses comes out as one unit. You don't have to reach inside and pry the hoses off with the flathead screwdriver.

How do I do this? I took the cover off but the two hoses are still connected to the plastic part inside the machine. Manual said it should come off when removing the cover but didn't and I don't want to break anything.

@@Rhevena I can't remember, but look for some kind of release where it attaches to that back part. We figured it out after we had removed the hoses as per the video.

if you rinse it and maintain it like you are supposed to, you never have to do this. keep making milk drinks and letting it dry in there, this will keep happening, run a cup of hot water thru it afte milk use, and this video never happened.

I have a miele 2650 stuck in faultf10, do you know how to fix it?

Oscar Morales f10 or f17 is water flow fault. 2 problems are possible. 1 is brew unit is gummed up internally with greasy coffee film residue . problem 2 is more complex as it is gearbox valve either bypassing or not opening fully. as far as consumer fix, remove brew unit, fill sink w hot water and degrease solution such as dawn, grease lighting, etc. fully submerge brew unit and let it soak til water is cold. remove and rinse with more hot water and place back in machine and see if it helps. if it does not, maybe a bad gearbox which has the valve made with it.

Hot water does is not the solution, just use Descaler to clean the machine, that will do the job. Only once a year, you need to de install all the appalments for the milk and coffee outlet, just and overnight job, remove the descaler in the morning.
