HOW TO CLEAN & REGENERATE BMC AIR FILTER EASILY IN 2024 | KTM 390 ADVENTURE

Use Dettol liquid instead - cheap & best 1. Use light running water first 2. Spread Dettol liquid on the inner side of the filter ( use generous amounts of liquid, soon you will see dirt dripping automatically) 3. Use new big size toothbrush 🪥 to spread 4. Let the airfilter soak the Dettol liquid fully this will take time 30mins + so 5. After 1 hr, rinse gently under running water, you will see all the dirt coming out. Rinse till clear water comes out ! 6. Let it to dry in natural air will take 30mins + then lightly airbrush cold air ! 7. Finally use hot air gun or hairdryer, make sure to use from distance ! 8. After 30mins of drying check if light is transparent through the airfilter. If yes its dried ! 9. Once dried, spray a light amount of engine oil using a small spray bottle (i use motul) 10. Again let it dry, u can lightly use cold air dryer from far ! 11. Install the airfilter back. Caution ⚠️: ride the bike slowly for atleast sometime less than 70 kmph speed coz your airfilter is still drying inside ! - Recommend: Do this process in free time, not when ur in a hurry !

It's upto you if you do rides in dusty terrains like Zanskar and Ladakh then after 5-6k kms otherwise for Road to Road touring 10-12k kms is ok 👍
