Thanks, glad you enjoyed the vid! Haha, a good and fair question. When it comes to getting rid of the grease, it depends how bad it is really. I have yet to come across a situation where a decent bbq cleaner wasn’t able to solve the issue. This is my go-to: amzn.eu/d/9ko5ha9 I have seen folks take electric sanders to their flattops to take them right back to the bone. But the results rarely look good to me, and it seems like there’s a good chance of wrecking your grill with that approach. So a good degreaser and plenty of elbow grease would be my preferred approach 😄

I’m sorry, but this is NOT cast iron! Griddles like this are made from cold rolled steel. No casting involved.
