Thanks for the info I have the same filter as what you've been working on exact same I cleaned the filter and used paint brush for inside the filter and hoovered the inside filter seeing how you did this I will re do mine and take the fan out and clean it again I've been looking for a video like this as had no idea what my filter was like before having a look was surprised to see it was round and mesh type at least I know I don't have to buy a new filter now I've saved your video and subscribe very happy I found you thanks a million what a relief to find this video I was thinking I'd have to buy new filter until now after looking at how to open the side where filter is and clean I'll be redoing it to make sure it's really clean like new After knowing my filter was round I wanted to find a video on my filter as I say was happy I found you thanks for everything liked and subscribed for all your new videos...

Thanks.... my Prius C was showing the "Check hybrid system immediately" warning. After watching this and other videos I surmised that my fan certainly was clogged with dog hair along with a rodent nest of some sort on the back side. After cleaning and disconnecting battery to reset I thought I was home free until a couple weeks later I'm getting the warning again. My question is does the fan run all the time or is it intermittent because I hear no sound coming from the fan with car running. I'm thinking the fan motor crapped out maybe. If I remove the fan and hook it up to 12 volts and it runs can I assume problem is resolved or is there another factor I might need to consider?

I did this very job on my 09 Prius a couple weeks ago. Previous owner had dogs, and that fan was FULL of hair and dust. This generation Prius didn't come with a filter, but I installed an aftermarket filter.

No service needed for that vehicle because it uses the AC system to cool down the bettery internally… so maintenance free 🫡🚨

Hi I am working on interesting project on Nissan Leaf Aze0 (2011) I have added 22kw batteries from Bmw i3 (2015) in the trunk so I hired profesional labour to install it and everything works fine results are from 50km range (4 bars) to roughly 200km and 12 bars. only thing that worries me is cooling system of new battery pack because it has none and my mechanic says its ok like that because battery is inside the saloon but original battery pack had radiator controled cooling/heating system so i decided to add cooler turbine from toyota prius i am woundering souldni use one ore two turbines and how do i controll cooler RPMs ?? any suggestions??
