Very Helpful Vid, cleaned mine last night. Have a 2000 LC bought it new in 2000, have 145k now, the throttle body hasn't been cleaned since 05... made a huge difference when starting, and added the needed HP that had diminished over time...Simple and easy fix

Hi there, can you help fuel consumption, I have an 04' Lx470( not from new, it has 330k km on odometer). I saw in your other videos cruising even hillclimbing on pavement in the city and not even approaching to 30 liters on instant consumption, mine in city it's going crazy over 30, I was trying getting the best consumption and my very best struggled was around 9 mpg in the city, without struggling(normal driving nothing spectacular or killing it or anything like that) stays around 6 mpg maybe 7 mpg in the city. (Very important to mention that my LX it's stock, nothing extra, no winch, tires, steel bumper or anything) Starts perfect, no iddle issues. Outside the city, doing highways, mountain curvy roads, hillclimbing on the pavement it stays around 14 mpg, but the city it's killing me... What it's wrong with her ?😢

for the MAS sensor do I have to disconnect the battery before I take the sensor off? or it is not necessary? thanks for your help!

You can just unplug it. If you get an alarm when you start the car just make sure the plug is securely re-connected.

Thanks for the video. Is removing the TB just a huge pain ? Seems like removal would allow a better cleaning ? BTW did the diff mounts this week. Wow what a difference!!! Thanks again

I just don’t think removing the whole tb is worth the effort. The TBs on these cars just don’t get that dirty. Plus, you run the risk of breaking something. If your LC is prior to ‘03 (I think) you’ll have a cable that operates the throttle body that you’d have to worry about. Later models have electric TBs (like mine). If you take it off and manipulate the valve with your hand you run the risk of breaking or stripping the gears that move it.

Hi, I have a 2000 LC100 with a 1fz-fe engine and have a problem with the fuel tank having a swoosh and pressure when I open the gas cap. I changed the charcoal canister and replaced it with an OEM. I still have the pressure and swoosh every time I open the fuel tank. It’s eating my head I don’t know what the problem could be. Please help!
