Thanks Jamie!! There will be more videos to come on other pieces and methods. Thanks for letting me know you are here! 😊 Do you like to clean jewelry?

@@BlessedBaubles no not really,,, I used to clean it in the beginning but no more!! Lots of hard work for each piece. I think if it was vintage rhinestone jewelry I would love to see the before and after pictures.

Cleaning jewelry with such care it's so therapeutic and rewarding, one has the chance to look closely at every piece and admire its intricacy and uniquenesss...😮

Wow Tina!! I was expecting that people may be bored with a jewelry cleaning video but you are making me very glad that I made it and I can't wait to make the next one!! You have also added a great point of view that I believe many may read and walk away with more appreciation for jewelry. Way to go!!

I enjoyed this video. I have used a toothbrush and toothpaste for years. This was recommended by a jeweler many moons ago……I have also used Bar Keepers Friend to clean silver and copper. It isn’t gritty so it won’t scratch metal. I have used it on very tarnished necklaces when nothing else helped. Gwen❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi Gwen! I'm loving your ideas here! I'll have to try some of those for sure. I did get some Maas silver cleaner and will give that a go on one of my next episodes. Thank you so much! Glad you are here.

Hi Cheri! It's Anne from VT for the summer. Congrats on how well your move is going (except for the good loupe). I love this video and you gave me some great tips, so thank you. I always marvel at how carefully you work with your pieces. It is very hard work to be so thorough and yet so careful. It's true that sorting and cleaning jewelry is very therapeutic, maybe because it is using our hands in reward-driven activity? Please keep your videos coming and especially the ones where you're offering your pieces for sale - it's time to SHOP! xoxoxox

Thank you for sharing Cheri! I use a toothbrush and mild dish soap . I also use these mini disposable mascara disposable brushes to get into tiny areas. I will try your method of mixing windex with soap next time!

Thank you for sharing your process. I tried a couple of your links and they are broken (magnifier, your favorite loupe). I didn’t try all the links, but you might want to check them. New sub.

Hello Violet. Thanks for subbing!! I'm so glad to know you are here. Welcome! 😊 I'm very sorry about the loupe. I realized it is not for sale on Amazon anymore, after I recorded this video. I went to buy another one and they were gone!! I had a fit!! But then I found them. Yay!! The loupe is called BelOMO and is made by Belarus! No wonder its so great!! You can go BelOMO website and get one there. I hope that helps. Thanks so so much!! ❤️

Would soaking something like that earring in vinegar and water work on hard to clean items? Or will that damage it?
@BlessedBaubles4 ай бұрын
Hi. If you put a timestamp in with your comment I'll be able to be sure which piece you are referring to. ok? Thanks. If it is the flower shaped earring I refer to that has a little bit more stubborn verdigris, I still would not soak it in vinegar. But that's just me. Again, I'd have to evaluate what a piece is worth and how much time I want to put into the piece before I spent too much time on it. On that pair, I'd just keep working at it gently, dipping the toothpick into the vinegar. I hope that helps. Thank you so much for such a great comment!

What ratio of dawn to Windex to water?
@BlessedBaubles4 ай бұрын
Hi Deborah. Any dish liquid or basic window cleaner will do. I didn't measure.. but I'd guess about 1 Tbsp of dish soap, 2 Tbsp of window cleaner, and 1 1/2 cups of warm water. But play around with it and see what works for you. Then let me know. Thanks so much!!
@UntangledTreasures4 ай бұрын
That’s silver and gold I think?
@BlessedBaubles4 ай бұрын
Hello Untangled. I'm not sure which you are referring to but if it's the jewelry in this video, most was Monet earrings, other vintage quality earrings, and just good costume jewelry plating. The silver tone as well. If you meant something else, please put a timestamp in your comment so I may go to the place you are referring to and respond appropriately. Thanks so much!
