anyone seen any good birds with your clean bins lately?

I really like how you are doing the birding clips with the scope footage and bird image....very effective. Great video Ed!

Thank you for the video. The excursion into the field was a fun little touch.

Very nice touch adding on that little excursion in the field! I should get out of bed early more often.

Great video Ed! You presented a lot of really useful tips, and I loved the mid-video birding adventure. Seeing a Grasshopper Sparrow was awesome, and I loved seeing all the species that are endemic to your area as well. Birding here has been alright, nothing out of the ordinary to report except a couple of ospreys moving around. I look forward to more videos from you! - Harrison and Evan

And for a foggy lense, which just happened to me for the first time, put your binoculars in a closed zip lock bag with a few desicate packages for a day or so. Clears right up.

Good video, however you missed cleaning the body first, with a brush then a damp cloth before you move onto the lens. I give my pair a full going over every month, and will precheck the night before an outing. Often this will be right alongside my camera & lens cleaning routine. I do wildlife too.

yeah that is good point to clean the body if it is. dirty, thank you for the feedback!

Yes, damaged my binocular lenses by cleaning with shirt tail and paper towel. Hard to keep lenses clean and dry out in the ocean with wave splash and spray. I'm more careful with my new bins...

Video idea: I think it would be cool if you did a video about when you started birding, it would be interesting for fans of yours and for people who are starting birding

Thank you for the video but when blowing air or using the brush pen,consider tilting the lenses sideways or upside down therfore the dirt particles will fall off rather than just swishing them inside the lens well. 😃

Thank you for the info. I use Zeiss lens cleaning wipes. Do you think I need to do more, i.e do what you do?
@Adventure.Ed.EcoFit4 жыл бұрын
those are good enough for the field, but every once in a while I would do a full cleaning job with a full lens cleaning kit.

Hello... Can I use pieces of cotton to clean the lenses? my binoculars are black, the body of these is dirty and somewhat scratched, what liquid can I use to clean the entire external component of the binoculars.

hello, i have a binocular and spotting scope, when i search optics cleaning kit they all say camera cleaning, so i get caution if its different like if it would affect the coating on the lens. can camera cleaning kit work for binoculars or spotting scopes?

I just take em and joy soap in the sink with hot water and scribe brush the hell out of them. Then take a hair dryer and blow dry them. then take windex spray them down good, with a dry cloth clean the lens
