Great video! Can't wait to deep clean now. (I have found that placing a mirror under the right wheel help get that pesky allen wrench into the hole)

I hope it helped you. Another thing to note that I don't think is in the video, is to never spray a cleaner directly into the machine. Spray a cloth and wipe with that. People who spray directly into the machine often get the black lid cable wet and cause all.sorts of issues. :)

Great video. Shared it with my wife and it really helped her confidence in cleaning her GF Pro. Do you have a link where to buy a replacement fan. Thinking just to keep a second as a clean spare and switch them out quickly when needed. Thanks.

I got mine from digikey for around $20, BUT it was not wired. I cut the wires from my old fan and made up connections to the new one. you can find already wired ones on Amazon and etsy.

Also, I’m looking for the video on how to clean that fan on the left- back side. Did you get a chance to make that one and I’m just not seeing it? I know what I’m doing today…binge watching all your videos! Lol. THANK YOU! I will be much more confident when the time comes to clean!

How did you clean the left inside part of the glowforge?
@LithosAndLasers2 жыл бұрын
Glowforge days cleaning that us not required. Blowing out with compressed air periodically will help with debris, but it will all get coated in smoke and wood resin at some point. Cleaning this has a very high chance of breaking something, so I would not recommend it. And most issues you will have will result in "We can fix that remotely, please buy a refurbished machine" or worse.

can you post a link to where to get a fan?

THA0412AD is the fan model. some sell with and without a plug. Mine was from digikey, and I had to splice my original connector onto the new fan. this listing show a plug on it. www.amazon.com/dp/B09HWTQQKM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_84V55A1THJ037VSES100
