I just started wearing chiffon hijabs and I didn’t know how much it can stain and the visibility of it. Thank you for this video. I use oxi clean to clean my hijabs and it works great. Also hand washing helps a lot. Thank you for the advice❤️

I hate chiffon hijabs. I feel like their so messy. They move a lot. You have to put so many pins. It’s also very delicate so you have to watch where you place your pins so it doesn’t tear.

Luna Luna I love chiffon, I only use one pin where my neck is because my undercap helps keep the hijab in place. But yea it stains easily and is noticeable but it’s not extremely hard to get out. To me it’s worth it bcuz I love the style of chiffon

Thanks for this video, I really needed it. I have chiffon hijabs and it get stained easily. The slightest drop of water will dry up to be a dark stain I hate that so much. I will try your method and hopefully I can get my hijabs back as new.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I literally just bought a bunch of new hijabs the other day and accidentally got red lip gloss on one them. I was super bummed and the stain really stood out since the hijab was a very light color. But after watching this video, I grabbed some oil free micellar water and a spoolie and the stain came right out! Note: I was really gentle with the spoolie and it worked on the georgette fabric without damaging it at all, so that method of spot cleaning works on georgette hijabs! Edit: I work in a makeup store and today a tester foundation exploded all over my hijab and this same technique took it right out AGAIN. Never did I think that something as simple as a spoolie and some makeup remover would save me.

Costco often gives out samples of gentle liquid detergents (I think they’re supposed to be for baby clothes).i always grab a few and use them to wash my hijabs when needed.

Ahh this video is worth gold! 🥇😍 BarakahAllahfeeki, amazing!! I am really struggling with my georgette and chiffon scarfs. Since I am only wearing these fabrics the grease stains are absolutely mad! I have tried everything from baking soda to dish washer spot treatment and stain spray, but nothing worked. I even washed it - with a heavy heart- 60 degrees in the washing machine. Had only a minimum effect. But I am gonna try the soap bar trick, hopefully it works 😭👌

to shampoo& condition your hijab i would recommend function of hijab you can choose your goals for your hijab also it makes your hijab very soft and shiny ;)

I don’t wear them for religious purposes but I love the material because I am an avid headwrap wearer now that I’ve shaved my head and they are perfect instead of going to the fabric store and trying to scout out good material !

I wear a lot of jersey hijabs I notice when I wash them they shrink and loose shape and do not feel the same when I wear them after not sure if it’s because I Purchase from eBay so not expensive or is it the way I wash, I wash on 20 degrees lowest setting with 400 spin cycle please someone tell me we’re I’m going wrong x

Another spot clean trick you can do is if you have your hair spray on you and you get or less say someone gets a lipstick stain on you you can spray it with the hairspray and then gently scrub it OK but as Jasmine said do a patch test 1st.

Yes! Just be very gentle with crinkle hijabs because they tend to look old if you clean them incorrectly. I would suggest hand washing in cool water then hanging to dry :)

You don’t need to dry it with a steamer! You can just hang dry it, and if they are wrinkly, iron them on a delicate setting 💕
