good to know you appreciate the difference between natural stone and porcelain, therefore video Hydrochloric acid ("brick acid") is great for removing calcium based products (eg cement and natural stone!) Sodium hypochlorite ("hypo" aka "bleach") is what professionals use for cleaning all sorts of patios as it is reacts with carbon (algae, black spot etc ) not calcium...

This is just what I was looking for. Tried everything to get black spots off my patio. Tried hypochlorite bit this looks just what I need.

If it is really bad. You can put it on neat and use a wire brush on a drill be causious on natural stone

Just make sure you thoroughly rinse off any bleach before using the acid.
