I have a tip for everyone: buy a small heatproof silicone bowl, a one that fits inside the metal container and next time out the wax in it and melt it there. When you're done let it dry in it and then pop it out of it. Just make sure the bowl is heatproof cause some can melt and fuck up your wax warmer.
@ririzap45559 ай бұрын
That's so clever! I'll definitely try that out

I just replaced my wax warmer and got a small heatproof silicone bowl as well! It’s so much easier, but I still need to find an easier way to get the wax off the outside of the warmer. That is what’s bugging me

Omgggg such a life saving tip, I’ve had wax almost all the way up to the brim since I started using wax warmers, and I’ve been re-using that wax, but now I barely have any wax left in the pot, so this way of cleaning is SOOO GOOS

Thank you. I was using a kitchen cooking pot as a double boiler for candle making and spilled wax in it. Trying to clean it while warm was a no brainer but the tip about using cooking oil to remove the wax was the key! Now I can use to pot for cooking again.
@SRenaDTML3 жыл бұрын
Perfect! Just unboxed mine to use today & was at a lost. Glad I found you 1st. I did leave my pot in the warmer turned on max & was able to hold the handle (thumb & index finger) while resting my hand on the outside of the warmer to keep it from sliding around--the paper towel method literally cleaned 98% of it out this way (literally looked clean & just felt sticky). I'll still do the oil for the sticky residue left behind & then wash. Thanks bunches!
@iseemelanie3 жыл бұрын
Yeah sometimes I keep the pot in the warmer for the same reason! Thanks for watching!!

Does this waxing even work ? Mine doesn’t remove a lot hair. Have to go over several times.
@SRenaDTML3 жыл бұрын
@@ummekadir702 I have the same issue & I've used 2 different brands. Once these packs are done I'm gonna try one more time & just pay up (4 packs came with my warmer for all hair types & worked okay. The other I purchased specifically for coarse hair was kind of cheap & was terrible).
@ummekadir7023 жыл бұрын
I think it’s useless really. Says go medium after it has melted but it gets really thick. If it gets stuck to your skin so hard to remove. Rather make sugar wax and use that pot to warm. Sugar wax is much better. Atleast removes a lot hair. Lol one packet I used on half leg only. Like what the hell !
@SRenaDTML3 жыл бұрын
@@ummekadir702 I may convert! Nobody wanna damage/irritate their skin having to do so many passes. I have to constantly adjust the temp for it to stay melted enough, but then it's too hot. Sugar waxing sounds amazing! Plus, more natural is always best. These wax beans Stank! Lol
