How to clean your wheels like a pro detailer

In this video we will be going over how to detail your cars wheels, tires and wheel wells. I will show you the process on how we clean the tires and wheels. We will be showing you the best detailing tools to use while cleaning you wheels. Also tips and tricks on what chemical to use for the first time clients. When using an acid base wheel cleaner you always be aware on what rims to use it on. Make sure to check the back of the lable to see what wheels finishes that is safe to use. Use these tips for your next maintenance detail or wash and you will be ready to go. I will also be talking about the struggles when detailing on a customers drive way ! Very nice detailing job. You seem like you've got a lot of experience. I have a few questions I would like you to answer: Any reason why you don't wear any protection? (gloves, goggles etc.) Especially when using hydrochloric acid (which I assume you do?) You say that you rinse off the body of the car before foaming it and agitating it. Water dilute products, so why do you rinse before a prewash? Are you agitating the vehicle on a prewash? Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the amazing feed back ! Yeah this was the first video in the morning so i ran out of gloves and wasn’t near a detail shop. I used gloves on the daily. and you always want to rise off as much debris as you could. So you lessen the chances of scratching the Surface. I rinse ,foam, pre rinse, rinse then foam Thank you I appreciate the support 🙏🏽

If the customer wants me to detail their vehicle and any of the chemicals or bleed off causes staining or discoloration THAT IS ON THE CUSTOMER, inform the customer prior to detailing that wherever they want there vehicle parked that is the risk there taking. We detail vehicles, boats etc not pressure washing. Hopefully that client is still with you /paid you extra for all that trouble of buying a pressure washer and spending extra time than originally expected💯

whether painted or powder coated doesn't the blue brush scratch the hell out of gloss black wheels? It works great but don't use it on my black wheels. Thorough job though. 👍🏻

Anything can scratch the vehicle they was I rinse the wheels before starting. Then use the right chemical on the wheel the key is to put 2 oz in the bucket for perfect lubrication. Thank you for the support I appreciate it 🙏🏽

Hey thanks for the comment I used an acid base cleaner from nano skins 4:1 dilution ratio. As far as the wheel wheels it was solution 1:1

How do you prevent rotors from rusting on BMW

It’s hard to prevent it unless you’re using a apc or a light cleaner. The rotors are uncoated so they tend to have a chemical reaction with mild cleaners. A trick you can do is after when done washing and cleaning you can roll the car a few feet and press the brake a couple of times then go back and break. Then it will be back to normal. It’s common to happen thank you I appreciate it 🙏🏽

Bro as soon as you turn on the car and drive there is already going to be brake dust on them. You should fine a chemical that you should use less man power and more effective on cleaning! Less contact for your hands and also wear protection on those hands!
