That tip about detailing the inside of glass before the outside is ace. The reason makes so much sense
@kevinmiser532515 сағат бұрын
Using the microfiber applicator sponge is genius, never thought of that. I never spray my glass cleaner directly on the windows since its usually the last step for me and I don't want to mist it everywhere on the outside of the car or inside on the door panel.

We agree, the applicator sponge method is a game-changer!

I typically dunk a microfiber in my Rinse-less bucket, and buff with a dry microfiber afterwards. But that sponge method is a game changer, I’ll have to try that method.

I am trying this next time. That never occurred to me.

I haven't used a sponge for glass but, I'm going to give to try it out today, being that I have all the products currently on hand. Thanks for the tip.

Best method in the business! I've been using Sydni's method for a few years now. It truly makes cleaning windows a lot easier!

Genius! I was using half of my good towels for the first wipe which got those really dirty then using another towel for final wipe but now I can save more by using a sponge 🤯 ✅

The twisted loop towel for glass is easily the best way to clean glass imo but claying the glass is something we do for all our cars.

I use some of the TRC Jersey Bug scrubbers and they work fine too! By the way, I noticed some of the wiper marks still showing up in the glare on the front outside glass. Can you do a video on options to help correct that issue if not too damaged. I hate getting the windshield clean only afterwards to see that condition appear once the glass is CLEAN!

Hey Kirby! So getting scratches out of glass is a pretty tricky process as it can cause distortion which could be unsafe. There is classes and systems that train on this tho, I suggest that. I took one but it seemed too risky for me.

Hhmm I'm going to have to try that. Makes sense. Now my nice waffle weave window towels won't look grungy.
@D.Dinkov14 сағат бұрын
This is great idea but forgot for edges on side glasses. I used 2 towels, one for glass cleaner and other for finish, but this way with the applicator is much easier.

Yes it is tint safe!

I always clean the interior glass in a vertical motion and the exterior glass in a horizonal motion. Thus, if there are streaks I can always determine which side of the glass they are on depending on the direction the streaks go.

How often did you switch the sponge out or do you clean the sponge after each window panel?
@joelcleare13 сағат бұрын
After a proper rinceless wash with absolute I wipe off the windows first. With the main drying towel and a clean towel. Steak free. I no longer need a dedicated window cleaner.
