Yes both 11th & 12th physics and chemistry basics will be much required incase of ICMR , and basics of chemistry is required to study human physiology and biochemistry. You can leave physics but don't ignore chemistry or else you will get into a big trouble. I left chemistry after 12 and facing problems now.
