VERY well done ! I say this with 40+ years in mortgage finance & banking working with credit bureaus. Different models and parameters are used by different industries but this name below info is pretty much universal. If you're trying to max your credit scores, there is a happy medium between too many credit cards and none. Too many cards with zero balnce may actually hurt you in some cases. Even if you do not use them, you have a potential. To always pay cash & still have cards doesn't help your scores as well

This should be the go-to video for everyone looking to get a credit card. It would save people a lot of time and energy if they just came and watched your video first- wish I would have found it before any other website or video! With so many options available, researching credit cards can be a daunting for someone who's trying to compare cards and trying to figure out what they would qualify for, because nobody wants a hard inquiry on their report just to not get approved. At 34 years old I finally feel ready to settle down long enough to buy a house. Love this video! I'm in Tier 3 (but Tier 4 seems within reach before the end of the year)! Ultimately Tier 4 is where I want to be so I can get a (good) frequent flier card. My wife is a little more in a grey area. She's technically in Tier 3, but had to file for bankruptcy two years ago because of medical problems, so I'm assuming she doesn't qualify for any of these cards for at least a couple years (that said, with my help, her FICO went from 300 to 661 within two years, so she's doing much better now)!

6 years ago I was in tier 2 had maxed out my first credit card and my score was in the 640s. Now I'm tier 4 with a 815 score and no credit card debt. I took the route of paying off my old debt and signing up for a couple more cards once my debt was payed off but making sure to always pay off the balance each month

Yea Navy federal gave me a really high limit. I applied and was denied at first so I got a service from this name below, and I was approved for a capital one. The limit was so small lol but I took it and worked on it. Because if that it helped my credit and I believe that’s what made me finally get approved for navy fed with such a high limit. they're still working on increasing the capital one since it was so low. All in all I’m satisfied.

I waited and skipped all the back cards and went straight to the top. Just by listening to some of your advice. My FICO is at 690 and my credit score is 740 all around. I got the Chase sapphire 20k and a New Federal Flagship with a 30k limite my goal is the Amex platinum. CK says my chances are good. I remember getting advice to not abuse my credit cards which I did back then having 750, 600 and 300 credit limits credit one capital and apple now my score went down the drain now I have a secured card with navy and I just gave a 200 increase for my 250 limit. Graduating just means a secured card gets upgraded to an unsecured card. A security deposit is no longer needed, and should ,e refund back to you.
