I have the same hair cut, short and tons of layers. Ive found that curling the short pieces under at the ends helps it blend aong with wavy curling it. The straighter your hair is the harder it is to blend.

So glad for this video. My hair looks almost exactly as yours does in this video (color, thickness and length of layers). I'm growing out a pixie and the stylist cut the top layer way too short for my liking. I got extensions recently because I'm just so depressed about what's going on with my hair right now. I've worked several hours, on multiple days, with the extensions but am not entirely happy with the results. I'm hoping your tips help me more but it's most reassuring to know I'm not doing anything wrong, as far as not being able to blend much and still being able to see that top layer.

@@VictoriaVann144 ugh I've been trying and it's so hard. The way it's cut and the thinness of my hair makes it impossible to put in more than two wefts without any showing. Luckily it's winter and i can at least rock a braid and beanie with them for now. It kind of hides the shorter pieces
@VictoriaVann1446 жыл бұрын
@@morgan_astrid so sorry! that sucks, I mean yeah if your hair is really thin, there may be no getting around it. Luckily, even when my hair was short and uneven, my hair is really black lol so that takes care of it. Also, in some parts, it's really too hard to put a weft in depending on the day, so I'd just clip it all up, and pony tail the long part.

Harmful to what? I'm sorry I don't understand your question. I don't feel "pain" when it's on my hair, but yes if you wear it for a full day, you'll feel it! It feels heavy and you'll be happy to take it off at the end of the day, but it doesn't "hurt." It shouldn't hurt. If it hurts, you put it on wrong. As for costs, I link EVERYTHING in the description box. I recommend checking that out first before you ask the question. Me 🤚 I was looking on Pinterest for hairstyle ideas because I wanted a change, so I tried cutting it myself. It didn’t turn out the way I wanted to so I tried cutting it some more…more… and more. End result- the same as hers. I didn’t follow the TikTok videos, I saw the picture and tried my best to duplicate what it looked like. BAD IDEA. After my failed attempt to achieve the haircut I wanted and efforts to fix it, I gave up and went to my hairdresser. I was literally trying to save money ( because inflation SUCKS ) but it turns out I should have just bitten the bullet and gone to the salon in the first place. I’m such an idiot and I regret trying to cut my hair. I even told myself I wasn’t going to cut my hair, but here I am… looking straight up ugly with my Asian mullet 🤦🏽♀️ Thank God for extensions- that’s all I gotta say.

@johnnaoliver62656 жыл бұрын
If you have the type of undercut where it's long enough on top, get 10-14 inch extensions. Extensions actually work much much better in your case! Because you won't have any messy straggly obvious pieces on the bottom sticking out. You won't need to work as hard! You may not get the length most want because you're hair is very short. That's the only downfall. But you can get away with shoulder length hair.
