Thanks man! Looking around online I was starting to think that "clocking" the turbo was just like changing the muffler bearings and blinker fluid! Basically you showed me what the whole point and meaning was so now I know to look out for my oil drain line to be pointing straight down.

I have the same turbo but I need to clock the puter housin, but the watergate bolts to it, now sure how I would do that

hey man, im stuck, my current stage 3 t28 hybrid core is dripping water and oil. for my particular car fiat 5 cylinder turbo- its hard to get another one that matches so have to get one from maxspeedingrods but how do you rotate the housing(s) if the wastegate is in a fixed position unless the wastegate mounts move with it? i need to clock the comp side with the outlet directly down but the exhaust flange needs to be facing directly upward, i guess i can get my mechanic to make an extended mount from where the gate would of bolted to on the comp housing?

Great video - one thing - how restricted are we clocking an internally wastegated turbo? Don’t want to put the actuator in a bind and not work properly.

Hey Jonathan, this particular video was just for demonstration purposes on how to clock turbos in general. As you can see with this actuator set up, I could not clock this one. This was purely just to show people how to clock their turbos if they needed to. Cheers, Kyle!
