Great insight, thank you for sharing. What I don't understand is the homeowner is saying he's going to sell the house that year. He won't be the one to benefit from the system, and now selling a house that has an obligation attached to it. In many house sales with solar, the buyer has the seller pay off the remainder of the loan with their sales proceeds. So he's going forward on something that could potentially reduce what he'll net from the sale compared to if he didn't have it all.
