Hi Mikko, I really enjoy watching all your videos. They are so informative and interesting. One thing I would like you to add in the videos , is where you buy your materials. Living in England we are very limited as to what's available to us here. Each of your lures looks awesome. Thank you for sharing. Cheers Tom

your techniques and results are genius. have you ever tried using mylar weave tubing for a flash veneer. Fly tying catalogs stock this braided tube in various colors and metalics. l also wonder if you have tried using silicone tubing to wrap the bait instead of rubber bands? Your content is inspiring. I look forward to more.

little bit but i really have not used flash foils or prism foils too much to be honest, they usually come with backing adhesive that usually really bad

Do you normally wear a dust mask when you sand or use fan to draw or blow away sanded finish and shell fines?

Great vid, have you tried shrink tube to hold the veneer in place it comes in quite large diameters and is pretty cheap.

i never tried that my self but i have a feeling that it might not work and might be too fiddly of a process.

is roughly 4 minutes of wrapping a lure in rubber bands really "too much work"?

For the Varnish he called it a CAB varnish but gave no brand name. I'm in the US so I looked it up. I think the product is a water-clear floor varnish. The CAB is a Acrylic modified lacquer where CAB is short for cellulose acetate butyrate. Internet search for Choose a Finish for more info and possible suppliers. Great tutorial and info.

@SolarfallBaits3 жыл бұрын

well basically the reason i don't mention in my videos where i buy my stuff is that for most its redundant information anyways cos i buy most of my supplies from Finland and those shops don't sell internationally. but for instance this material that i used in this video i was able to find from ebay
