How To Collect Cardinal Flower Lobelia Seeds

My Cardinal Lobelia really like a damp spot on the edge of my rain garden. I expect it will find its favorite wet spot as years go on. I bought my first seeds from Prairie Moon Natives. It was a little difficult to get started. I followed directions and got 5 plants the first year. They bloomed the second year.

I love harvesting cleome seeds. They essentially have a string you pull and out fall dozens of seeds as long as I am patient enough to wait until the seeds are ripe.
