a question or a remark, you speak about special signed cards by the VAs and also at 9:40 about special cards but never did u mention how one can get those kinds of cards whenever new versions release. could you elaborate on how those usualy come onto the market or how we can get those outside of spending tons on auction websites or whatever

RotG is a great set to start, but at current day it runs around $150/box. Another idea if you want a cheaper option is to get an earlier booster box set. Surprisingly you can get box $40-50. That way you can see if you like it. I would get a couple boxes to set back, short term won't help it, but it be great long term investment.

Thank you for all the information. Very interesting. I've been collecting for a few months now. Generally as soon as I unpack a set, I'll put the loose cards in my binder or for SR/SPR I put those into sleeves/card protectors and then store them. Leader cards I put in the clear wrapping so I can see both sides. Any cards in my decks I will get sleeves for them. One for protection and two because it just feels nicer! Overall I like collecting and I can't wait to play more and collect more!

Thanks for your video! Sucks because I feel like I’m very late to this hobby. When I was a kid I loved collecting the Score set but just before the Buu saga I stopped collecting. Now I’m trying to buy packs which aren’t too bad price wise but harder and harder to find. I didn’t like the Super Anime, but the cards are fantastic and a great nostalgic trip. I want to start collecting these cards but singles for these cards are getting really expensive. Same goes for Sealed product.

The tabs on the cards are actually not necessary since the card savers are beeing cut open at the bottom by PSA when grading. That is why you never get your card savers back.

Been a fan of dragon ball for a long time, saw the cards and loved the art of them. Learn that dragon ball super is the recent series believe there was a previous release. What packs should I start with, with the very beginning expansion? (Not sure what the right terminology for it is)

if your talking about the old vintage cards then the dragon ball z score. but if your looking to get into db cards starting here at dragon ball super is probably the best way to go :) probably grab the latest set at the moment cross spirits to dip your toes in and see how you like it

Welcome to the hobby. i believe you should just grade anything that you like doesn't matter what rarity.

Hey I want to get into collecting dragon ball z cards but how do I learn about the sets like how do I know which are the latest sets and the oldest. Also I see most of the cards are around 2018 the earliest does that mean there was no dragon ball z cards before that? Thanks I'm new

i show how to look at sets in the video but this is for DBS which started in 2017, DBZ cards go back to year 2000 - 2006 for the originals & few other versions after up until now those ones are more difficult to learn about unless you use to collect them or have been in the DB community since the beginning because there are no more official websites for them anymore its hard to explain it all in a comments

Dragon ball 2020 !! My middleman is actually a trusted friend who lives in the US. i send to him when i do bulk subs, but when its small quick subs i tend to send myself. Are you in any Aus FB groups? i'd recommend joining "Master Roshi's House " its the #1 collectors group for Aus, & making a post saying you want to grade wonderful community & the admins in there are all my friends which can help with middleman grading :)

Im into collecting pokemon and baseball cards but i have much more luck with pulling valuable baseball cards but picked up my first few packs of dbz tcg today and pulled 2 cards im told are worth sending into psa. I regret not holding onto my pokemon first edition cards as a kid and i wont make that mistake again lol. Im told this is a good investment.

I'm re watching this video because I just invested in the card savers for my secret rares and Signed SPRs but I must say there horrible it's hard to put my card in it feels like there going to bend when I try put then in and the tab you have on them is that just a sticky note type thing and also my card is sticking to the inside of the card saver I've got my sleeves on the card but it still sticks to the inside very annoying

how are you putting them in ? its meant to be very easy i'd say as easy as using a toploader do you pop it open before putting them in to release the air pressure cause if you dont & you just slide it directly in would be the only reason i can think for it sticking and being difficult
